I think I ought to say up front, that I imagined each chapter/part or 'issue' as it were of Jim and Lucien would be about 16 pages long.
16 pages gives you enough room to tell a story, but provides a challenge of economy. Can you tell a complete story in 16 pages? Yes of course, but it isn't easy. Now I'm trying to tell a complete story in this time frame, just pieces of one, but it's a fun challenge trying to set it up so that individual parts stand out as being 'about something/someone in particular' but work together as a whole.
I only say this, because at page 13, I'm nearing the end of the first part of Jim and Luc and I didn't want to spring what might seem initially like arbitary divisions on people.
Anyway. Enjoy. I guess.
